My original post disappeared into mod-land:

I had always used Au-thor Cen-tral to make updates to my book details, as opposed to updating the description from the Bookshelf and then doing a Save/Publish. However, recently my updates showed up as normal when made from A---C--- but after a few days reverted back to the original text. So, which is correct: update from A--C-- or edit the book details directly?

Edit: this post finally appeared too. Sorry for multiple posts.

I don't know if this has been answered, but I believe you should edit the book details directly from your bookshelf. I believe the author central just deals with individual marketplaces.

When you edit the AC blurb, copy/paste the HTML into the KDP blurb, too. Otherwise, when you republish (just to make a simple price change, e.g.) KDP will override your AC blurb.

Thanks, I think this is the best approach. More work, but at least it should stick.
