How do I get Amazon to link the three parts of my series together? I have seen these things before but I can't seem to find how to get that in place.

On bookshelf page, click on the edit details for each of your books in turn and make sure the 'series' box is ticked - also make sure the name of the series is typed in properly in each case.

Sometimes you have to ask Amazon for it. I did. Make sure your books are worded properly then send them an email with the names of the books or the ASIN #s.

They’ll look into it, determine it’s a series, and send you the series link page and tell you it should go live in a few days. And it does.

At least that’s what happened when I emailed them.

Good luck with it!

My reply went to mod, but in short, email Amazon and ask them.

You have to ask, but if you're indie they probably won't make the page for you unless your books are bestsellers.

In my case I'm not a bestseller, but they made the page without being asked. That said, they can't be bothered to update it when I add new titles.

I know a lot of authors who are nowhere near best sellers who have the link. Why do people insist on giving out advice when they know less than nothing about the subject?

They'll do a series page for anyone with a series. Just ask.

Sorry to say that isn't true, so far I have asked on four occasions and have been told the same thing each time. Not available to all but when it is more widely available ask again (that's the short version)

I'm surprised they told you that. I am nowhere near being a best-selling author, but both my series were given pages after I requested them. Admittedly they seem to think adding another book to an existing listing is advanced rocket science, but they will do it. Just make sure all the books in the series have exactly the same series name and there shouldn't be a problem.
Oh, and check they have the numbers correct -- I had two books both listed on the series page as Book 1 despite them being clearly titled Book 1 and Book 2.

Cynthia, you are absolutely right. Via Author Central, I asked KDP to set up a series page. They not only set up the page, but helped me with the metadata to bring one of the books into line. As to my series' bestseller status...well, it just isn't. It's been my experience (having spent too many years in customer service before retiring) that when the right answer isn't received, the right question hasn't been asked.

I'm assuming those with no trouble getting a series page have decent sales. When I asked they said it'd be a few days. A week later they e-mailed me stating they couldn't create the page due to a technical issue and were working on it. A month later, still no page. I sent an angry message and magically I received a notice the next day the page was done. I didn't have to correct anything, so that was not the problem.

I think Amazon first piloted the feature with bigger sellers, but I'm sure it's not just that anymore. The speed with which things are handled probably depends more now on which KDP employee is handling them. Certainly the customer service responses vary radically.
