I'm sure this has been asked a million times, but I cannot find the answer:

I am an Amazon Associate. I am also the author of two books that are sold on Amazon. I am currently editing 6 eBooks that will be uploaded to Amazon. Question: can I use my associate (affiliate) links within the ebooks to send people straight to Amazon? I talk about a number of books and other resources in these books. I did see that Apple strips out Amazon generated links- is that true?

Thanks-
Terry

No, you can't. It tells you in the rules for being an affiliate where you are allowed to use the codes. But inside books? No.

I don't think there's any point in it, because as I understand the matter, you can't set a cookie on a Kindle or a Kindle app. If there's no cookie, there's no affiliate referral fee.
