As the volume 1 of my series ebook on pregnancy, I'm considering the following titles,
12 Brain Science Lessons during Pregnancy That Changes Your Baby' Life
12 Psychological Lessons during Pregnancy That Raise Your Baby' Brain
Which is better?
Further, am not sure here "during pregnancy" or "for pregnancy" is more natural. Could anyone please give me any suggestions?
Unless you are a psychologist, neurologist, or other accredited medical professional, I would advise you strongly not to choose either. Amazon--and the Internet--are awash in "expert" books on expert topics from people who've never even gone to college. If that's you, then you should try to come up with an amusing title, and target the layperson. Don't title books as if you are a doctor, or medical professional, researcher, etc., (or have other successful published books), if you are not.
I agree that a combination of first part of second title and second part of first title is better.
'raise a baby's brain' sounds weird, you can, probably. raise a baby's IQ but otherwise it sounds as if you lifting it's brain up physically!
';brain science' does not sound academic to me
Neither titles are 'grabbers'. You may consider something a bit more appealing and use one of these as a subtitle if you're aiming at a general market. But I don't know how this fits in with your other books.
Why not lose the main title and use the last part? Although changing lessons (which may daunt less academics mums-to-be) to methods or ways. If you still want to use the first part you could make it the sub-title.
12 Methods for Boosting Your Baby's Brain Development
PSYCHOLOGY FOR PREGNANCY
I think this creates a more immediate title, whilst the sub-title implies methods are academical based. (nb I left capital letters more because it was too much effort to change, position on cover will determine your font).
Most mothers want to give their child the best start they can so the title should be understandable to them. The subtitle is reassurance that there is an academic background to the book. This, and your creditionals, at least should attract interest. The style of your delivery will determine if they buy.

Thank you so much for your suggestion.
Right, I'm considering using one of these as the subtitle.
What about this one?
PSYCHOLOGY FOR PREGNANCY: 12 lessons to boost your baby's brain development
The main title is not so appealing, though
Well, it's not a "fun" title, but it's a LOT better than "Brain Science." Brain Science sounds a bit like it went through Google Translate, if you know what I mean? (Glad to hear you're an actual accredited person, rather than our typical self-pubbing expert bozo. I just saw another "expert" book written by a GUY, of course--about how to affect brain chemistry, for Menopausal women--yet another mansplanation, and that book, I'd like to blow-up.)
Your instinct to look at alliteration is also right, but...I agree. It's not an amazing fun title. I dunno....PopScience for Pregnancy? Preventing Psycho Pregnancies? (Sorry, lol, couldn't resist that one.) Pregnancy Psych 101?
Sheesh. Tough topic, I fear. Maybe the word Psych or Psychology needs to be nuked? Can you tell us a bit about what's IN the book? Mom Mind Games? Nyah. Mom Mindset? Nyah.
I'm taking in consideration that you're probably qualified to give this advice. Otherwise, why else would you write such a book? Lol. Maybe you could try this title, "12 Exercises That Can Assist In Your Baby's Learning Development During Pregnancy." Hope this helps and good luck. 😀
Thank you for sharing your ideas. Glad to hear that.
This is the volume 1 of a series, and focuses on the psychological health of pregnant mothers and their partners. Their psychological health states directly change the maternal physiology, e.g., produce chemicals which reach the baby in the womb. The impact is long-lasting. At least I myself has been astonished by recent research findings. After that I provide a number of psychological strategies to promote the paternal psychological health during pregnancy.
This book was actually originally written for my family and friends, therefore i really did a lot of literature search and consulted with several leading scientists in this field. I just wanted the babies of our family and friends to have a best future. Then after finishing the book, i think it'll be helpful to others as well. So, that's all.
I've also got a great cover design from a professional friend, now preparing for uploading actually.
