Hi guys!
Does anybody know how to change the mail address?
I started with my private account, because I thought I could a my coworkers here, but as I wasn't able to, I need to change the mail address.

All the best,
Julia

Look above where it says 'Welocme, your name". Click on that.

Click Bookshelf at the top of this page. Then, in the upper right, you should see a link, "Julie's account." That's the only place to change your email address.

Well, that's the only place to do things with your account. You can try contacting Amazon directly (use Contact link at lower right of this page).

Note that even if the email address associated with your account changes, you will still use your original email address as "name" when logging in (and of course keep the same password). If you try logging in with your new email address, you will create a second account, which creates a big mess.

You're joking. After changing your e-mail, your log-in doesn't parallel? No wonder people get into really confused situations!

I'm not joking. It's the explanation that I've come up with when we've had too many folks complain, "I changed my password and now my books disappeared!" They tried to log in with the new email address, and the KDP bots didn't recognize them.

On any site, you log in with your "name" and password. The Zon has us use our email address for "name." But if the addy changes, the name stays the same.

So actually, the best way would be to delete the account and create a new one, so that there aren't any issues?
That is soo freaky, this is Amazon, shouldn't they have a better solution for this problem?

OMG. Then you WOULD have issues! No, we don't want to do that.

That is soo freaky,

Indeed.

We think so, anyway ...

shouldn't they have a better solution for this problem?
