I finally managed to get a list of the supported HTML tags that can be used in the product description, however, you should list which attributes can be used with the "font" tag.

font face="font face" what font faces/styles are supported?
font size="##" what sizes are supported?
font color="color" what colors are supported?

Where can I upload and see how it will look on Amazon before I upload my product descriptions?

None, I think.

And no, there's no preview. I generally do this in Author Central (Google it) where there IS a preview. I just do a placeholder when publishing the book, then fancy it up on Author Central.

Good luck! -- NJ

As far as I know, there is no choice for any of this. You can do bold, and that's about it now. There used to be more options, but I think Amazon would rather stuff look more uniform.

Where can I upload and see how it will look on Amazon before I upload my product descriptions?

As notjohn said, once the book is live you can do stuff through Author Central (though still nothing fancy), but anything you change on the upload pages will knock it back to whatever you first put in the description box. You can go back and fix it again, but what a pain.

You can do bold, italics, and (I believe--haven't tried it myself) strike-thru. You can also use the line break and paragraph break tags.

If you're talking about the description over on the CreateSpace side, you must use the br and p tags to do spacing, as ordinary spacing that you just type in will be ignored.
