I have been away from Amazon for years, but my book remains on Kindle. I am trying to enter new bank account information, current information, for the payments to be directed. When I enter the information, I receive a message that the new bank account is not receiving payments (Well, I just entered it) and I am not allowed to save the bank info.
Can reply and tell me how to delete the old bank account and make the new one effective?
Note that the required information varies among countries. In the US, it's a "routing code." In the UK, I believe you're supposed to use the IBAN. That's probably determined by your tax ID, so if you enter an American Social Security number and you live in the UK, the software might be looking for a US bank and reject any other. (That last bit is a guess.)
