Hello all

I had published a book on May 1, it say I would receive a payment after 60 days of calendar month (What is that mean?)

And When is it for me then?

Thanks :)

Payments are done at the end of all months. They are paid two months out (60 days). So, if you sold a book anytime in May, at the end of June, a payment would be given to you for those May sales.

I know my math skills are lousy, but wouldn't May sales be paid at the end July?

Payment is made for a sale approximately 60 days after the end of any month in which that sale is made.

(It can vary by a couple of days either way.)

That's not correct, Donna (which you almost certainly knew somewhere). Payment for any sale made in the month of May will be sent at the end of July/beginning of August.

Assuming you have sales, and assuming you can receive payments via EFT, May sales are paid near the end of July, about July 29.

You didn't mention when or even if you've sold any copies, or if you signed up for EFT or chose to be paid by cheque. I mean, really, mate, are we mind readers? As you no doubt know from reading the "How Do I Get Paid" help page, you receive payments (assuming EFT) 60 days after the close of the month, so sales credited in May are paid at the end of July; June at the end of August, etc.

If you still want to contact KDP and have one of the boffins direct you to the help pages (or your contract, for that matter, since it's explained during the enrollment process) you will find a link at the bottom of this or any other page enigmatically labeled Contact Us. Click it.

Good grief. Why in the world did you not even bother to read the posts on this thread - which contain the answer you're looking for - before just barging in to ask basically the same question that the OP did?

I once answered that same question three times in a row on this forum. I don't know why I bothered.

Because you were overcome with compassion for the stunned, the incapable, and the unwilling. It happens sometimes.

And because every now and then, there's an inquiry from someone genuinely earnest, who, once it's pointed out to them that such information exists in the FAQs, or in a thread right on the very first page or two of the forum in which they're posting, expresses appreciation for that and begins to use those already-existent, easy-to-find, and sometimes even right-in-front-of-them resources with gusto.
