The book about buying a car is only 13 pages and is priced at $2.99. The preview makes it look like entire book is written in capital letters.

The fictional story about the war is only 20 pages and is $2.99. It needs a lot of editing. It's more of a short story than a book, which isn't appealing to many people.

I realize you are not asking a question here, only venting, but I read your blurb for The Bloody Taste for Battle. It is punctuated, capitalized, and grammatically incorrect. It is all 'telling' and no 'showing'. Frankly, it is not an enticement to buy the book let alone view the 'look inside'. I did 'look inside' and found the same, albeit even more numerous, grammatical errors. And using an italics font for the body of a book is not standard.

If this were an easy way to make money, we would have twelve million KIndle books instead of just six million. The majority (vast majority?) of self-publishers never make enough money to take a partner out to dinner at a good restaurant.

The reality of book publishing before Jeff Bezos upended it was that a small number of authors made a lot of money while the majority made just a little. Today it's somewhat different: a very small number of authors a huge amount of money while most make nothing worth mentioning.

Good luck! -- NJ

Thanks for the heads up. I'll admit I am no way a professional writer or even an amateur one at that, my aim for the car buying guide was to try to help people save some money and get advice while buying a car, it wasn't my intention for it to be seen as a book but as a guide, and you're right I did price it a bit too high so ill be reducing it. As for my grammar, well I got a D in English language I think that speaks for itself. Now that I'm thinking about it, to me I think its something id like to leave behind like a legacy of some sort. I don't think I'll ever try to write another book and thank you for your critique.

Hi, Jake ill just repaste what I said to Tim as I think the same applies here.
