I am not running a free promotion. I wish I was though. If you want to read a darker fantasy book, I've written the first in a series called "Dust and Silence." If you decide to read it, let me know what you think.

HI Ladybug thanks for your offer - I'd like to take you up on it. If you like the sounds of my book 'The Curse Of The White Tiger' then please go for it.

It's a story about a Thai girl in love with a British soldier in WW2. Then the Japanese come to her village and commit all sorts of atrocities and kill her soldier boyfriend. He crys out a dying curse for revenge when they execute him. The villagers later think the curse is coming true and he has been re-incarnated as a white tiger. After the war the Japanese go home and the girl thinks she will never get justice for the things that happened to her and her fanily. But many years later, in the dawn of the internet age, a Japanese multi-national company want to drill for oil on her land. It turns out the boss of the company is the Japanese officer who committed all the war crimes and she hatches a plot to bring him to Thailand. She intends that the curse of the white tiger shall be fulfilled. If you want to check it out you can find it at the link below.

It's approx 84,000 words.

Not sure if it is appropriate to say this but there is no charge on my own story today, using a free day. had some people download it today for the first time. any review or especially criticism would be very much appreciated as this is my first effort and part of a series i hope to improve upon as it goes along.

Thank you Ladybug, what a kind and generous offer! My book isn't currently free, in fact it is my first and just listed yesterday.

Okay I have a free story today and I hope to get some straight forward reviews on it. In fact if you want to send me an email with your thoughts on it instead of posting a review here or replying to this post here is one of my email addresses. Hawkssr128@hotmail.com The story is very short so will take maybe 15 minutes or so to read. Check out the description first and see if it sounds like something you like. I'm very curious about your opinions and here's why. I have a few reviews that are very nice on Amazon and another short story forum BUT I saw a review that someone gave me that i just found and they gave me one star on Dying to Write. Said they didn't like the premise one bit and also didn't like that I left them hanging. Now I can respect that they didn't like the story but I'm scratching my head about the "leaving me hanging" part Thank you!!!

Hi Ladybug,

Very kind of you. My new story is only 99 cents; it's called "Night Train to Florence" and is an honest, risque tale of two girls traveling in Northern Italy in the 1980s.

Thanks!

Hey Ladybug,

I sure could use a review for my short novel, "Temporary Widow." I have had two reviews -- don't think one of them is you! If it is, I apologize.

Thanks!
