Hi!

My default country of sale is India and I've set the price in native currency. For initial days (a week or two), it showed the same price that what I chose to set. But from the last couple of days, I'm seeing different and increased price on the website, though it has remained same in the bookshelf here at my dashboard. For e.g., the book priced at 125 INR is showing 147.5 and same is true to all other books that I've published recently.

And the guiding answer is all welcome.

Thank You!

Starting August 1, KDP began automatically adjusting the prices in India for all e-books to include 18% GST. For example, if your book was previously priced at INR 100, it will now be priced at INR 118.

You can change your pricing on your Bookshelf, if you like, or just leave it alone.

Thanks a lot!

Even I heard that GST will be implemented on eBooks. But had notification from Amazon on this issue. They should have at-least dropped us a mail.

They did notify us by e-mail a couple of weeks ago. Maybe it went into your spam filter. There's also an announcement on the forum home page: https://kdp.amazon.com/community/ann.jspa?annID=1340
