Hi to Aussie authors. I have been trying to change my payment method from cheque to direct payment. KDP site requires a BIC code and Westpac says no such thing in Australia. Have reported this to KDP but no luck. Anyone else having this issue?

Try reposting this Q in the Payment Issues forum. Few people look here. I know we have some Aussie authors in the forum, and one of them should be able to help you.

Hello, save yourself from the stress and Open a US bank account through Payoneer and use it to get your royalties. Payoneer bank account and its master card is a payment solution that can be of great help to you.

So, check out this my blog post for the step by step processes involve in registering for the bank account, card delivery, activation, and entering the bank details into your KDP account.

Bronwen, I'm Australian and have for years had direct deposits by EFT and wire to my Westpac account. The BIC (Bank ID Code)may also be known as the BSB (Note with the BSB don't insert a space or dash between the number set) The other code possibly known as a routing code, is known by the bank as a SWIFT code. For security reasons once entered and saved you can't go in again and see what you've entered in those fields - you have to delete the bank account and re-enter.

It all works fine but if you have trouble with Westpac (I didn't and they knew exactly what I was talking about) try Suncorp. (or another branch because yr probably talking to the village idiot)
