Hi Friends/Authors,

I published 2 ebooks on Kindle, but not many buyers seem to be here. I published them in 2016, but only few bought them, although, when I put the ebooks for FREE, lots many people downloaded the books :)

Is it the same with other Authors too, especially new Authors? What is your experience and suggestion to increase the purchase of our ebooks?

I'm afraid what you've seen is normal. With something like 6 million ebooks on Amazon, it's hard to get noticed. It's estimated that half of those books never sell at all.

The books that sell best are in popular genres and are well written, well edited, and have a great cover and description. And the authors have done extensive marketing and promotion.

If you've made your book as good as you can, and at least some people have bought it, then you should take pride in that. Good luck!

Promote, Promote, Promote
Update your cover to attract attention, especially after a year. People are used to seeing it and are scrolling past, a new cover might catch their eye. Update the description as well, same reason. Make it look like a new book.
If you're on Facebook, promote your book there. If you have a large friends list, that would be a good place to start. If you're new to Facebook (in the last few years), your friend list might not be enough. You no longer have to "friend" someone to play the games with them, in the old days (LOL) we had to friend all our game only friends. I have close to 400 "friends" but only actually know about 30 or so of them. If you don't have a large friend list, put a post up and "boost" it, it's cheap and will give you a set number of views to your post.
Print some copies of your book and take them around to local bookstores. The chains, such as Barnes and Noble, can be hard to get into but the smaller locally owned ones usually take self-published books on consignment, at least all the ones I've talked to do. Local likes to promote local, take advantage of it. Don't restrict yourself to what is considered "normal", especially if you live in a small area. When I told my hairdresser I had written a book, she offered to put some in her shop! If the owner is present and recognizes your face, give them a shot, the worse they can do is say no.
Don't forget your family and friends! And don't be afraid to ask for reviews. I put a note on the last page of my book thanking the reader for reading it and asking them to leave a review. I also put an email address for them to email me with comments (get an email address specifically for this, you don't want them in your regular email.)
You have A LOT of competition for their hard earned dollars, you have to find a way to make your book stand out. Unfortunately, one of the drawbacks to self-publishing is you also have to self-promote. Good luck!

The language flow of your posts seems stilted, as if you have a good command of English, but not fully conversant in the way an English reading audience would expect it to be structured. That may be an obstacle to someone reading a sample of your work if they keep 'tripping up' through the sentences.

Just looked at your works on Amazon and can see why you're not selling. People don't like rants or dubious looking get rich quick guides.
