Hi Fellow Writers!

There was a small announcement today from print-on-demand service IngramSpark that offers a great new opportunity for self-published children's book authors. It's not currently offered by CreateSpace or Amazon direct, but hopefully they will match what IngramSpark is doing. This article offers a detailed breakdown of that announcement and shows how it can impact the way you think about your book’s design.

I hope it helps

When it comes to putting heat on Amazon, I recall the prophecies of doom when Apple came out with the iPad, when Google introduced Google Books, even when Barnes & Noble began selling the Nook -- oh, woe is Jeff Bezos!

Didn't work out that way.

(Don't trust KDP to publish a print edition. Don't trust CreateSpace to publish an ebook.)

Good luck! -- NJ

Personally, I don't care who follows Ingram Spark's lead. I go where the trim size I need happens to be offered.

Think it might take a bit more than a new trim size for enhancing children's books to uproot the Amazon empire.
