[i]Harry Vee, PI, doesn’t want to return to Hong Kong.

But when he is forced to take the case of a missing schoolgirl he soon realises that finding her isn’t the problem. The hard part is keeping her away from the people who hired him.

Hong Kong gangsters, Chinese Secret Service and amateur UFO sleuths all feature as Harry criss-crosses East Asia attempting to unravel the conspiracy before time runs out for the girl, and for him.

My first novel of a trilogy, A Circle Has No End, is now an Ebook. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005DLNSTQ

`Triad meets Taipan in pre-war Shanghai', as my copy-writer daughter describes it in as few words as possible.

Shanghai, the ‘Whore of Asia’, plays backdrop to the drama in 1936, as two families and a beautiful stateless Russian woman, find their lives are circling each other in a dangerous world – and ultimately come to realise that a circle has no end.

It's a novel written around historical events by someone who lived in the East for ten years, among six million Chinese, who saw typhoons, the colonial life style and the noise, smells, characters and excitement of that magical part of the world.

Details of the book and myself are on my web site http://www.tony-henderson.com/

OK that's the blurb, and an outline of the story. If it's of interest, please try it. If you do, then please write a review. Thanks. I have had 360 downloads in the USA in the last four weeks so I must be doing something right!

I've just published my first eBook, The Last Bike Ride - http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Last-Bike-Ride-ebook/dp/B006V5ARW4/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1326262136&sr=1-1

A story of Danger and Reflection as Steve Martin attempts to cycle 80 miles home to his wife and daughters after surviving a motorway pile-up as he and fellow panicking drivers witness the distant mushroom cloud of an atomic explosion over London.
Some sort of terrorist attack had been expected for the last month since Pakistan had fired a small nuclear device over the border to wipe out massed Indian troops.
A nuclear attack wasn't expected. Who was behind it? Is this how the world ends?

Apologies for the screen nickname - I use the Courier New font and I'm an old white van man, so don't worry about sending any abuse, I'm used to it!

I'm not sure if anyone is still reading this thread, but just in case - here is the info on my book. It is entitled Devastated.

What would you do if a difficult period in your life became compounded by an additional, unbearable ordeal? When everything you’ve been taught as right and wrong is challenged by the person who taught you right from wrong? No one will avoid adversity in life—your values will be tested at some point. Yet you don’t really know your true character until you are confronted by unimaginable events.

As a single mother of two young boys, while living with my father, I was faced with the life-changing decision to turn him in to the police for possession of child pornography and molestation of a four-year old neighbor girl. I am a firm believer that all children deserve to be protected, even if it’s from your own family member. The following is the true story of my descent into and back out of the hell that came about from this explosive discovery.

The ebook price is $4.99 and the link is http://www.amazon.com/Devastated-Daughters-Journey-Tribulation-ebook/dp/B00723OE0U/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1329623292&sr=8-2

If you read it, I would really appreciate an honest review on Amazon!! Thanks!

Hey... thanks for the invitation to post links. This is story goes pout for fee starting in the morning.

roduct Description
(Excerpt)

“Buried deep in the storehouse of our memories are the timeless treasures and precious keepsakes we hold from a place called yesterday. Occasionally, if only for a while, something beckons us there again. Longfellow said, “Our today’s and yesterdays are the blocks with which we build.” Among the building blocks of my yesterdays are memories of a man I loved, who never called me by my name.”

______________________________________________________________

Never By My Name celebrates a relationship a young boy had with his grandfather. It would be while fishing the lakes and streams of North Carolina that he would learm the value of having a grandfather who believed nothing on this earth was more important than their moment.

Dedicated: To Grandfathers. You've made this world a better place.

“My Temporary Life”-Quite possibly the best-reviewed book by a debut author that you will ever find:

“This is a wonderful book that will keep your heart engaged from the outset. The characters, the delicate weaving of the story, the beautifully described settings, the emotions of the main characters and the issues at stake in the plot are all superbly done.

Do not hesitate to buy and read this book. It is a first novel that seems like it's from a mature writer with deep experience in writing and of life.”
Sharon Becker (NYC) Amazon Reviews.

“It is almost impossible to believe this is a first time author. I haven't read anything in a long, long time that has as many characters that I've loved, nor a story that has captivated my attention completely from beginning to end. This book is a gem and I can't wait until his next novel comes out this year.”
C. Weigel “Cathesper” (Dallas, TX) Amazon Reviews.

“This was a beautiful story. These characters were genuine and interesting. It doesn't always take gratuitous sex and/or violence to make a book appealing (the sex/violence in this book was very REAL stuff -- not crazy crime novel drivel). I loved this book! Mr. Crosbie, please give us another wonderful story like this one.”
S. Kennedy Amazon Reviews.

What is the driving force that motivates someone to sacrifice everything; perhaps even their very existence, and climb into a ring with the intention of overpowering another human being? Aficionados of the fight game agree that champions are not born – they are made of the vigor, the intensity, the drive, and the scarring of deeply embedded life experience. And not all champions are driven by a vow taken as a ten-year-old. Scott Ashley was a child who innocently aspired to learn karate at this tender age – but when his father beat him mercilessly, and his mother left, he made this vow his singular focus. Scott never forgot that night with his parents, and from that day forward, nothing could stop him from thriving through martial arts.

In ROAD TO THE TITLE; Scott shares intimate details of the unique experiences that formed his insatiable desire for recognition, and he leads the reader on a journey spanning three decades; originating in 1973 at the Rugby Theater in East Flatbush, and culminating in an Atlantic City Casino, when he becomes a world kickboxing champion. The story envelopes the reader into Scott’s adventures working as a shoeshine boy; his struggles to overcome the chaotic dismantling of his family; his independence at age 15, his experiences working as a teen-age bartender in Manhattan; and his relentless pursuit of a championship, which leads to his prize-fighting escapades in; Canada, France, the Ukraine, and Atlantic City, where his dream comes to fruition.
