In my CTA (Call to Action) at the end of my book (which I will publish January 1), I ask readers to write an honest review on Amazon. I would like to supply them a link. I wondered how other writers do this. Can I ask Amazon for an advance link to my book page if I sign up for pre-orders, for instance, or should I just give readers the link to my Author page so they can click the book to leave a review? Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

If you do a pre-order, you will be shown the page link I believe.
NO they will not give you a link prior to a pre-order listing or no listing.

Don't bother. KDP already does that for you, with an annoying pop-up when the reader gets to the end of the book.

I bought a book yesterday, and that annoying pop-up was the FIRST thing I saw when I lay down on the couch and opened it on my Fire tablet.

@OP: As soon as the ASIN is shown to you, you can create a link by using this url: www.amazon.com/dp/ASIN/

Replace ASIN with the alphanumerical ASIN of your book.

Sorry, I don't know when the ASIN is first visible. Perhaps only after the book has been published. But of course you can then modify your original book and upload a new version.

(Don't trust KDP to publish a print edition. Don't trust CreateSpace to publish an ebook.)

Good luck! -- NJ
