Hi, I know this information is probably on Amazon, but if anyone can help me by summarizing it, I'll be more than welcome. If you think I'm being lazy and should just check other places, also let me know and I'll do it.
By choosing Select, am I forbidden from selling my book in other places? (Like B&N and other platforms?) What about other countries? Can I sell paperback issues of my book, while also selling it through Amazon? Maybe this is a really basic question and I apologize in advance but I'm kind of confused and from what I've seen from other forums, I think if it's on Select Amazon sort of has the 'rights' for full commercialization, but maybe I've got it completely wrong so I thought I'd ask experienced writers/sellers.
Thanks a lot!

Select makes Amazon the only place online selling your ebook. It does not affect paperback sales.

No, if you are enrolled in select you cannot sell the ebook anywhere else.
Yes, you can sell the paperback as you will.
Yes, you should have read the very simple directions before considering enrolling.

I replied with a link but it went to mod*era*tion.
If you sign up for the KU program, you are in for 90 days unless you opt not to renew it. You can always rejoin it.
Be sure and keep good records of WHERE you are selling and the time frame/s.

Moira,

There's a button at the top of this page with the cheeky title - 'Kindle Select'.

Click on it and you'll find all the answers you could possibly need.

My fellow community members have given you most of the information you asked for, but rather than post another easily answered question, you may want to check the guidance out for yourself. Save the community goodwill for when you need help on something that's not readily available in the multitude of help pages Amazon have made available.

Just a suggestion. J

Hi Julia, thanks for your answer. I didn't mean to cause any form of issue, and perfectly understand what you meant. I was basically trying to confirm what I'd understood from the overall work I've been conducting here, and appreciate everyone's answers.
All the best,
Moira
