Will my book maintain current Amazon sales rankings after I move it to KDP, or do they reset the ranking?

Will my book maintain the Amazon reviews and ratings?

Actually, the first question should be, "Why would I want to move a paperback from CreateSpace (where things generally work pretty well) to KDP Print Beta (where all kinds of problems have been reported and I still can't buy author's copies)?"

Edit: Or are you talking about generating an e-book version? You DO NOT want CreateSpace to do that for you. It's the one thing they don't do well.

Don't do this! It's madness. You would be going from a BMW to a Yugo.

(Don't trust KDP to publish a print edition. Don't trust CreateSpace to publish an ebook.)

Good analogy! (I think..)
BMW's are awesome, whereas I've never even heard of a Yugo, so it must be bad!

Hey, at least NJ didn't invoke a Trabant (the notorious East German moral, but not technical, equivalent of the Volkswagen). The car had its body made out of hard plastic manufactured from recycled materials. The most famous Trabant joke goes thus:

Q: How many people does it take to build a Trabant?
A: Three: One to cut, one to fold, and one to glue.

And yet, there are still a very surprising number of them on the road in Hungary, running just fine.
