I recently posted my book for preorder. The kindle is for November 5th while the paperback somehow is available now. That is okay except for that the kindle is the default book. It is a children’s picture book and when I search the title in Amazon, the kindle is the book that is listed. I had them linked together a few days ago.

I google it a lot and contacted support, but in vain. When I click on all other children’s books it opens to the paperback. If someone could give me a little insight, it would be much appreciated! Thank you!

Here is a link to what I see: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/s/ref=is_s?k=haddie+sue

It usually draws the cheaper price first but both versions show on one page.

HOWEVER:
Your two books of 24 and 25 pages for a Kindle version priced at $8.95 and a hardback priced at $10.95 will not gain you any buyers.

The paperback is "somehow" available now because you published it. The link you posted is not to the sales page but a search page, which is a poor marketing strategy. Your two editions are already linked on the same page. If customers want an e-book, they'll click e-book; if they want a paperback, they'll click paperback. Honestly, I don't know what your beef is.

There is no setting for that, it is up to the Amazon gods.
