I see all these other sponsored ads of bare chested men on the cover. I try and run an ad campaign on mine and it is DECLINED every single time due to nudity. It is a bare chested man, just like all the others I see. It is seriously making me angry.

Those books may be from traditional publishers, or from authors who are big names and have a special set of rules. Double standards abound.

OTOH, with the AMS approval process being bot-driven, it's most likely a word or two in your ad copy that's tripping them up. Lately, they even seem to choke on headlines with upper-case letters.

Is it sexually suggestive overall? Because that is not allowed. You need to figure out why it is being rejected and fix it. Getting annoyed achieves nothing.

AMS has been letting bare chested men through for a while now. Even MINE got approved and it's plenty suggestive :)

There must be something else going on with OP's cover.

All of mine are Sponsored Product ads. Never tried the other kind, as I've heard they are useless.

Not even the name of the book is sexually suggestive. It's a man with his arms crossed over his bare chest, that is it.

As Diana said, it's got to be something else. Did you read the PDF guidelines that they linked to in the rejection e-mail? They changed the requirements in April/May, and added a lot of restrictions. Older ads are grandfathered in.

On the one campaign of mine that was rejected, the reason they gave in the e-mail had nothing to do with the actual reason; it's all just some poor sap copying stuff from a script. Check the guidelines and then scrutinize every word of your ad copy.

I suggest that you post it here or on kboards were people familiar with the rules can look at it and help spot the problem. If they can't see anything then it would be time to email and ask, specifying that you had already tried the forums.

Try a bare chested woman on the cover. See if it's a gender neutral objection to your add. ;-)
