Eligibility for KDP

My books are published by a Hong Kong based publisher and a re available via Amazon as e-books and paperbacks. Also available through other sites. Am I eligible to join KDP and use AMS?

KDP is a platform for indie publishers (usually author-publishers). As Donna says, you aren't the publisher, so sorry, you can't take advantage of KDP promotions or ads.

Eventually Amazon will own the entire publishing biz, top to bottom. Then there will be no point in writing unless you are willing to give all your income to Amazon.

(Don't trust KDP to publish a print edition. Don't trust CreateSpace to publish an ebook.)

As far as i recall reading the instructions. you need to be the publisher to take advantage of KDp
aslo you are restricted to amazon for the time of KDP participation
