I have finished my book , of course it needs editing and spell corrections, not a problem. I used "Word+ writer for ease and to send to family and friends for review. How to I finish and publish?

KDP has a specific informative package called KDP Jumpstart (Google it). It includes a step-by-step process for creating your book, including some videos. Good luck!

Yeah, Jump Start looks promising. I saw a few pages yesterday while searching for something else.

@OP: if you are as raw a writer as you present yourself, your best bet might be to scare up some "beta readers" who will give you good advice. There are even online groups that specialize in this. As for formatting, there are dozens of fairly inexpensive ebooks on this subject, including my own. Also see my blog, especially the third post: All I Know About E-publishing.

(Don't trust KDP to publish a print edition. Don't trust CreateSpace to publish an ebook.)

Good luck! -- NJ
