I am trying to set up my payment and an old account showed up. I entered the new account get a message that says, "This bank account is not being used, so it will not be saved." Now what?

Try deleting and setting it up again.

You're not in the UK and banking with HSBC by any chance are you? That seems to be a theme again today.

I had that exact same message pop up when I recently changed my bank account info (also from the UK, but not HSBC). That message threw me off as well but I just took a chance and clicked yes to delete (or whatever the option was), and it worked. The old account was deleted and the new one was in its place.
