Reports query

Just a quick query, if any kind person can help me. The spreadsheet shows that on Saturday 25th I made 28 sale orders, of which 12 to date have been converted into actual sales. Does anyone know the timeframe for outstanding orders to be turned (or not) into actual sales figures? Since KDP changed the system, it's very difficult now to track actual sales as one day bleeds into the next. In general my sales figures have gone down severely since the change, but I've no idea if this is an unfortunate coincidence or something broken with the system. I've tried emailing KDP support several times but they aren't very helpful and tend to give the same responses.

Thanks!

Back when I used to track this, it could take several days (or never) for orders to convert to sales, especially international ones. I think the record was around 40 days for one in Germany.

Did you check for returns?

Wow, it can take that long? For the life of me I cannot understand the point of the current system. Nothing was broken with the old one. I do check for returns, generally I have 3 or 4 a month.

Unless you sell 500+ books a month, that's a return rate you should be concerned about. A normal return rate should be no higher than 1-1.5%.

Up until a couple of months ago I was selling about 1000-1500 a month. Now it's way down, sadly.

Yesterdays grapf was showing alot more book sales than what our numbers was showing for the most part it is within 5-10 book sales but this was 100 off. I wonder what was up yesterday and when we will see the sales, I sent a note, heavens knows where the notes go a phone number and email was listed in my email, almost never do they get back to us.

It seems to be a common complaint among others these past couple months. Hopefully, things will pick up for you all this holiday season. Good luck.
