Is it me, or is there a dramatic drop in the availability of good books to produce.?? I do non-fiction, religious, business and textbook type work, and I have always had something to do. But lately, the list of books is filled with what I call, 12th grade writing assignments, less than 2000 words, or books that are so full of grammatical errors and the like, that they do not lend themselves to being produced. I, very simply, and my studio are gathering dust waiting for something worthwhile. I guess authors are going with just their printed books, or maybe they aren't writing, or maybe . . . I don't know. Discouraging to say the least. Anyone else feeling the same way?

Let me explain. With KDP, authors are realizing they can get their good books to market WITHOUT A PRODUCER. That's why you're hearing crickets.

I am my own producer, so all I've seen is high quality. :P
Perhaps you need to expand your business to offer more things to more genres?

Well, this is a DIY forum. While I personally doubt most newbies actually pay attention to all the good advice they're given, it is at least possible.
