So far I have sent 2 emails to you with attachments using the your email address from email that you have sent to me.

I've just sent you an another email today to that same email address -- mail@booknook.biz

But on the emails that I have received from you, it says in red at the top of your emails: Please type your reply at the top of the email.. But its just not possible to type my email at the top because there is no space to do so. So I just been replying using your email address - mail@booknook.biz -- in the normal way using Gmail.

This leads me to ask you whether you have received any emails from me at all. I've been sending these emails to mail@booknook.biz

William:

I assume that you posted this earlier? Before we'd exchanged emails? I have the emails and the ePUB in question. I'm going to see if I can take a look at it this weekend.

Since I've been using PDFs and the book creation software from Amazon, all the formatting issues I used to have are gone.

I assume that what you mean is, you're making Kindle Textbooks? For a fixed-layout book that can only be read on the more-advanced readers? Is that right?

William:

I wrote back to you immediately upon receipt of the very first email. Do you recall that you wrote back, thanking me for responding so quickly?? That was a few days ago? I can look up the thread in my Customer Service inbox, if needed.

I've sent a note to you today, about the h1 class in that ePUB. If you haven't seen that, I'll assume that the server is, for some reason or another, intercepting it. Did you receive that?

I've snipped the email addresses, because the forum rules say something about not using them...and better safe than sorry. ;-)

No matter what you do the LOOK INSIDE will look like shit because KINDLE wants your money. They will keep on publishing software for dummies that are not compatible with AMAZON Style sheets for that simple reason:

They want to wear you out until you reach for their $1000 complete package.

Don't publish on Kindle, no one will read you anyway, not even if you promote your book.

It'll never sell. Mine is $4.95 digital, $9.95 paperback (and with the paperback you can get the ebook free).

There are also plenty of 99-cent manuals, though naturally I don't think they're worth buying.

(Don't trust KDP to publish a print edition. Don't trust CreateSpace to publish an ebook. Each does one thing well and the other thing poorly.)

Good luck! -- NJ

Or you could get off your duff and learn how to format.
