I've come to the third step of the KDP publish process "Paperback Rights and Pricing" and have filled in the needed information.
when i hit the "PUBLISH YOUR PAPERBACK BOOK" button it gives me the following error...PLEASE FIX THE HIGHLIGHTED ERROR(S) TO CONTINUE.

Problem is that there are NO highlighted errors shown. All three function boxes at the top of the page have Green Check Marks visible and say COMPLETE.

I have no way to move forward and nothing that I can visibly see to correct so that I can move forward with the paperback book publishing process.
Damn frustrating as KDP has written back in 24 hours to say it will take 2-4 business days to look into this.

Does anyone have any suggestions or a history with dealing with this similar issue?

Thirty-five people will have this suggestion:

Take this GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY to move over to CreateSpace to do your paperback for you.

The only two things to watch out for in CreateSpace:

1) When it offers to do your e-book for you, say NO, or skip that step (the result is usually ugly, and you have your e-book already anyway).

2) In a couple of places, finding what button to press to go to the next step is not that clear. On my screen, I found that the button was below what was showing, and I had to scroll the web page.

I want to share my recent experience:

I also got "Please fix the highlighted error(s) to continue" and I didn't see nothing, it gave me headaches for around day and a half trying to look for help and also researching around websites.

Then, reviewing "letter by letter" really very carefully all three pages I discovered the problem: The comparison between American Dollar with Japanese Yen. My book price was $9.00 which is was more than the minimum which was $6.49, but checking the Yen it was in Y1004 when the minimum was in Y1140, it means that the disparity between Dollar and Yen affected that problem. I fixed it and finally I could publish it smoothy and no problems.

Please check every price and every country to make sure is about the minimum or higher. The bugged program doesn't say nothing.

I changed my price but the trim size etc still remains highlighted. Any ideas?

I faced the same hiccup, and after some frustration I reverted to good ol' fashioned internet, refreshed the page and the "continue" button was usable. Can't guarantee it will work for you, but it's easy and worth a try.

I went though and slightly increased all the prices for non-United States sales and the error went away....I think that the daily changes in money exchange rates causes some hiccups sometimes, and it fixed my problem!!

I have successfully filled in all details of my book expect in pricing section which is highlighted when pressed it states historical data on similar prices, but it remains stuck for hours not giving me any option to complete my published book, very frustrating to say the least. How can this be resolved?..............
