Had a bright idea.
If kdp / amazon printed advertising posters for our books, we could use them at book signings, book fairs, put them in our local libraries etc.
We could include them as a freebie with printed editions of our books.
Designing our own posters would be fun, and we could include author details, web sites etc.
I think it would be a good marketing and promoting tool.
How many of you would appreciate and use posters if they were available to order?
I'm afraid you've mistaken Amazon for a vanity press. Go to XLibris or Author House and you can get a price list for posters, bookmarks, postcards, standees, pens, keychains, business cards, magnets, mugs, t-shirts and anything else they can slap your name on and charge you a hyped-up price for. If you, as publisher, want posters and gew-gaws you can order them from any number of businesses on the internet, or give a local business some trade. Yes, designing all those things can be fun, or you could go to a professional printer (Amazon is not a printer, professional or otherwise) and have them done right. And you won't have to pay through the nose for them.
