It means that you may see a report of a sale or an earned royalty longer after it happens than you normally would.

We get paid 60 days after the end of a month in which we earn royalties, so Amazon gives themselves plenty of time to catch up the reports.

Since Amazon themselves have to keep track of money they've made, you can be sure that their internal records of sales don't have any gaps. They just have a glitch getting the info out to us. But many have asked them specifically, and they repeatedly have said no sales or royalties are lost, they may just be reported late (like a few days or week late).

Having Formatting issues. Try to get it into proper method for pages but on Word we cannot d it. Then we have to transfer to
Adobe. Suggest use Apple progs instead of expensive, trendy MS Inc. models. Also like to stick to older HP
machines, also found Windows Seven as good as "10". Why change? My Gee- 62 had it all: camera slot,
Cd and DVD player, etc. Let's not get El Cheapo here. Mr. The Source.

Glad to get an answer. News: Not esoteric but business. The average person must
think I am hallucinating or lying, but they do not know me. Well, I do not know any
other Zonland writers. Personally. Many of us had to hide under some Nom De Plume.
That was stated openly by one guy or girl, who did not want to put any photo of self on
back cover Seems that "issue" was Create Space.

After some reading of posts, from others, I can see that all I have to do is paginate, get
the correct "gutter" and margin spaces, etc. Then put that into Adobe. It can be done but
am I so hot and heavy on having paperbacks flying around? Not sure, dude.

It's relative. There are some words traded with a certain normal publisher, who shall
go nameless. They are moderately OK. But only in terms of business, not personally.
First, I need to go to some Con. Then ask the SFWA Union what they are "sure" of.
Then meet that publisher face to face to see if they are on the level. One year from
now, it might work out. There is a word for this.

Let me know more.

Put this way: There was a risk of $3,700 bucks. A real Evil Thing would have charged over three
times as much, we suspect. Maybe $12,000. That was theory. I am not sure. Circumstances may
change. I must be behind by five years.

I sell very few paperbacks these days, but only a handful of my books are available in paperback. The vast majority are e-book only, which is the norm for the genre.

Watch out for predatory publishers. Check their reputation with SFWA, as noted, but also try the "Bewares and Background Checks" forum on AWWC (Absolute Write Water Cooler). No self-respecting publisher will ask you for money.
