I recently got a big red BLOCKED for my compilation book. The content doesn't seem to be the problem as I'd published the same work before on KDP. Do I have to more clearly state what is and isn't a compilation of previous work or is this just not allowed? Thanks.

If you published it once on KDP, why did you try to publish it again?

I'd put 3 of my previous works into the aforementioned compilation. I felt it was neater to re-release it all as one whole.

Hmmm. "Box sets"--which are compilations--are allowed. I'm not seeing the issue here. Perhaps someone else will comment.

Cindy, did you give your book a new name with a subtitle to explain it was a compilation? B

I suspect that i didn't clearly enough state that this was a compilation/box set/all-in-one. Amazon was a little glib with the details.

This may sound insulting, but in the first place, are you on the level?
If you are, just keep your original website, under your Author Name,
and then you can create books under new titles and new ASIN numbers,
plus under ISBN numbers, if you actually activate Create Space, as in
try to make a paper version of your E books.

That is hard and takes much longer than the "E" thing. Okay? Put in
a more convoluted, dorkish manner, the Bots and/or Folks at
Zonland, Seattle, Washington, USA, will sorta... tell ya the same
kinda... thing. It shall be true. Amen.

But you cannot have more than one website. Do not be greedy.

We now have seven books in "print" but not on paper. We are not into
Ecology Determinism, like Green Party fanatics, but it is a pain in the
ass to print 20,000 books on paper and see most of them get repulped.
Why waste trees? As in "waste" or kill them?

We feel groovy about being "up" there in Big Wild Lites like Broadway
and 42nd, which is where my characters belong, but we did not see
much Mula yet. Are we in the same boat here?

If a certain publisher (in the English language) were a real nasty
Vanity Press outfit, they would charge at least $16,000 USD.
Not just $3,500 USD. (Want that in UK Pounds?)

Both the UK and USA are now becoming more hoggish and
very Protectionish. Aka Trade Wars. Get it?

Times are lean and mean. Comment?

The man sits there in some cafe and goes
"If the story is true and good, then it is well written..."
or something. He is cool. You have to see him in Paris *
At Midnight to get into it. It must be a war story.
They do not "do" it but they allude to it.

  • at or after, or apres, who cares? Look it up.

Yeah, yeah, we know. Leave us alone.

I asked for an Asterisk, not a Bullet. Is this a god**** job resume?
Well, we can supply that? Can I be a Hitech genius, too? Lemme know.
No wonder the type sucks.

Demons are invading our Net. "You mean demons took my wife!"
yelled the poor barkeep.
