No option to enroll in KDP?

Hi guys. Quick question, I have just noticed that one of the four books on my bookshelf is not enrolled in the KDP program. I want to rectify this but can see no option to enroll on the drop-down menu. My other books are all enrolled and have the 'manage' option shown, I ran a free book promo a couple of weeks ago on an earlier book in the series, so the only thing I can think of is that KDP enrollment is (perhaps) suspended as we are still within the 90 day period of that promo. Would I be correct in that assumption?

You don't see a KDP Select Info option on the pop-up menu? It's the fourth option down. Running a promo on one of your other titles shouldn't have any effect on enrolling another title in KDP Select.

Nope. The fourth option down is 'promote and advertise'. The fourth option down on my other books is KDP select info. I know, it's weird...

In that case, the book is already in Select. The "promote and advertise" option is only available for books en*rolled in Select.

Unfortunately, this doesn't work. When I click on the option to promote or advertise, I'm told that I can only do so IF I enroll with KDP Select...! (and yet there is no option with this particular book for me to do so...)

I think I may have worked it out. The copyright was set to public domain rather than my copyright, which I have now changed. I've slapped myself on the wrist for this one.

You may get an e-mail from Amazon asking you to verify copyright. If you do, reply promptly and politely, stating that the work is yours, that it was marked PD by accident, and what would they need you to send for proof? That usually satisfies.

If you priced your book $2.99-$9.99, but marked it Public Domain, as you say, then you'll also want to change your royalty to 70% since Public Domain is limited to 35% only. If your book is not in that price range, ignore and carry on.
