For three weeks now, I have tried (several different times) to import my latest novel... but each time, it just sits and spins, telling me "Just a moment please. We are importing your book to KDP." One time I left it going all night into the next morning, just to see; nothing ever happened. KDP had a message that it was "still processing" but there was nothing there, so I've tried RESUBMITTING today - same thing. Just spinning, claiming it's doing it, but not doing it. Is KDP working on this issue???

From where are you "importing" your book. You should be "uploading" your e-book file to KDP for conversion, after having formatted it as a Word document or an e-pub. If it does not upload from your computer folder, use the Contact Us button at the bottom of the page to ask KDP directly. They can certainly tell you if there's a glitch in the system or if it's something on your end. Good luck.

It is you who must work on the issue. If your book won't upload, there is something wrong with your book file, your web browser, or your computer.

I upload epubs, using Google Chrome as a browser. Not for eight years have I had a problem with an upload, and at that time I was sending Word docs along.

(Don't trust KDP to publish a print edition. Don't trust CreateSpace to publish an ebook. Each does one thing well and the other thing poorly.)

Thank you... yes; I was trying to import from CreateSpace. I've uploaded directly instead. ~Dennel

Some of my titles were transferred by Createspace, some were not.

In the end, I uploaded the cover and files myself directly to kdp. It went live the same day.

Those sent by Createspace are still in review. If they are not live at the end of the 72 hour deadline, which is tomorrow, I'll upload them myself

So, yes they are having issues.

If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer, try Google Chrome or Firefox instead. Explorer has never worked well with the KDP. (I'm not sure about Edge.)
