I have 80 books in which I have 10 books which are not copyright. Which I uploaded starting of my Amazon kindle career. I requested Amazon that I remove those books and I never repeat it again. But Amazon support holds on their decision.. I lost hopes on reinstating my kindle account, I got an message from amazon in which I can see my royalties will be paid. My question is will Amazon pay me ebook and Kindle read views royalties both? And also I am allowing to access reports and community tab in Kindle publishing account, I checked this month sales I had none but I am getting kindle views which means my books are not deleted so people are reading it? Please guys tell me will they pay me royalties for this month also?
Due to Content Guideline violations with respect to books you have submitted through your account, specifically submission of content that is freely available on the web, we are terminating your account and your Agreement effective immediately.
As part of the termination process, we will close your KDP account and the related CreateSpace account (if any) and remove the books you have uploaded through our channels from sale on Amazon. Subject to the Terms and Conditions, you will receive any unpaid royalties you have earned.
Additionally, as per our Terms and Conditions, you are not permitted to open any new KDP and/or CreateSpace accounts.
If you have any questions regarding this issue, please email us at email@example.com.
Well, if the books have been taken off the Amazon store, there won't be any more sales. I suppose that if someone downloaded your book(s) through KU and continues to read new pages, you will be paid for those pages. I once got KU reads four or five months after I took my book off Select.
Amazon is being generous. They didn't used to pay out anything on a terminated account.
(Don't trust KDP to publish a print edition. Don't trust CreateSpace to publish an ebook.)
I recieved a similar email from KDP very recently as well, though their explanation for the action was "Due to repeated Content Guideline violations in regards to books you have submitted through your account, specifically books that disappoint our customers, we are terminating your account and your Agreement effective immediately." Of course, I never once was informed of any such "violations", however their explanation that it was because my books "disappoint our customers" seems very off considering 95% of my books reviews are very positive and the sales are holding quite strong and steady. How could my books be disappointing their customers when they continue to be purchased and read on a daily basis? Also, every single one of my books is still fully available on Amazon in all formats, my sales reports can still be accessed, yet otherwise I can't get into my account, so I am completely confused by what is going on here. I've got multiple emails in to KDP but so far I haven't received any kind of answer in any form. The thing that bothers me most is this literally came out of the blue. No previous warnings, no contact of any kind that there was a problem (and yes I check my spam folder), just a sudden BANG, you're done because... reasons.
