Flexibility of Kindle Textbook Creator

Hi, I'm working on my first book of wordsearch puzzles and I used the Kindle Textbook Creator because I could import my PDF files from the puzzle creator software. My question is this: Can I now add text or illustrations to the pages?
If not, can I transfer these pages to another program within the Kindle publishing set to add more detail to the pages?

This was an easy program to download the PDFs, but I'm not seeing a lot of flexibility when it comes to customizing the pages.

Thanks for any input.

I guess if you import the PDFs first into something like GIMP you could add text as a layer on top of it. :)

I'm afraid that you cannot add images or text to an existing page in the KTBC app.

When you import your pdf into KTBC all the pages are automatically converted to jpeg images. and that's why you cannot add any new text or images to existing pages in your KTBC version.

But what you could perhaps do is add any extra images/text in your Word doc version. Then convert your Word doc to pdf and use that in KTBC. KTBC only allows you to create a Nav TOC and also gives you the option to preserve all links and that's about it.

Why not try my free Sigil plugins now available on MobileRead?

ZoteroNotesImport - Imports Zotero endnotes into epubs

ZoteroRefsImport - Imports Zotero references and creates a new bibliography section in epubs

MendeleyXMLImport - Imports Mendeley references or endnotes into epubs

You can download all these free plugins from The Sigil Plugin Index on the MR Forum
