Has anyone else gotten a email saying you will get royalties when you only had a refund and no book sales for a certain month? Feels like Amazon is a tease.

As I recall it, the royalties cover three months, not one month - but am not certain - and sometimes, you get a sale, but the card or check doesn't clear until the next month ... lots of variables, but Amz does not pay until it has money in hand.

Why don't you look at your Payments tab and see what they're talking about?

Same here.

Haven't had a sale since May 4th. It was paid in last month royalty check.

I was able to find the link that said this month's payment is one penny less than last month - which means I must have sold four books that didn't show up on the dashboard as sold.

I think those emails are bot-created, so a sale automatically creates one, even if there is a return. It's disheartening, certainly, but strive to do better for the next one.

Don't forget to check the monthly Excel spreadsheet that comes out around the 15th. That will list all actual sales and pages read (if in KU), which book they're for and where (except for countries without their own store, those will be lumped into the .com one).

This thread is two years old, and is about royalties. Nowhere in it does anyone offer to help you or anyone else upload your work, which judging from your post, would need extensive editing. If you have a specific question, start a new thread. And it would be a good idea to remove your e-mail address from a public forum.
