Does anyone seem to be really slow with digital sales?
I'm on day fifteen with zero while paperbacks at CS are chalking up.

Did everyone download a ton of stuff over the holidays and they're busy catching up? Just a thought.

I am on day 21 of a zero flatline.
For me, the slump started on December 14th and has been slow ever since.

I have been a bookseller for 20 years; for the last 10 years, I've owned a series of successful used bookshops. When eBooks came out, I felt that they would take over a small part of the market and plateau. I also felt that there would be a migration back to print books from people who found that the eBook experience wasn't preferable to print books. A day rarely goes by without a customer telling me either that they no longer use their eReader or that they only use it when they travel. Since eBooks came out, my shop's gross receipts and net profit have increased every year. Books are not 8-track tapes or typewriters. They are not obsolete nor are they on the road to obsolescence. I wish eBook publishers the best of luck. I ain't bothered by 'em.

Since mid-December my sales fell sharply. I've only been able to hold on with new content. But if I go a week without publishing, it falls right back down.

Hi, Donna St. Felix. Nov. Dec. Jan were good for me. but I'm in sweet romance and Select. I'm coasting on the halo of those promos in February. I'm designing a 5 day promo Mid March. I need to find time to revise a book. If February was 90 days long, I'd get it done. Pffft.

My ebook sales are chugging along, slow but steady. But my only paperback sale in February so far was returned. I'd never had a print book return before! It was book 2 in a series. I fear someone may be trying to game the system.

Donna, I've had 51 digital sales since January 25 (US, UK and Australia). That's quite good - for me. In that time, I have had a cover disaster and am eagerly awaiting a replacement. Hopefully, I will see some more sales once I've made the switch.
