It took me three years to dream up and write, and the devastation at being ignored by the traditional publishing route has turned to absolute excitement since I began the self-publishing route on Amazon.
As sports editor at Bolton's traditional daily paper, and a prominent name in the paper for 25 years, I can even turn my dream of seeing my book in the bookshops of Bolton into reality. They've told me I need to get e-book downloads well into four figures first. I'm currently on 21 by May 11,2012, so a long way to go. But I don't care, I've had great feedback and that's everything to me.
If you would be kind enough to check it out, the brief synopsis of Two Minds To Die is that the main character, Marcus Fieldman, meets a man who thinks and acts exactly like him, and instantly finds his life in danger. The man's a stranger to him, but knowing he exists makes Marcus a threat to the criminal activities of one of the most powerful men in the government who will now stop at nothing to kill him. To stay alive, and find out why he has a mind clone, Marcus must take on a ruthless criminal organisation and, in doing so, discovers that an old and deeply-buried family secret lies at the heart of the mystery. When he begins to investigate, he encounters other characters with a common aim – but very different motives – and his search for the truth becomes a fight for revenge and justice.
My book "You're a dead man, Johnny Black" is the first in a four part series. Its about a guy in hell who is sent to 1920s Chicago to fetch an escaped soul. There's gangsters (naturally) beautiful dames, demons, a bad tempered imp, other soul chasers and lots more.
My book: "The God Inside Trilogy" is free throught Tuesday May 15th!
I'm trying to make Amazon's top 100 free book list and your help would be greatly appreciated in getting the word out!
If you like sci-fi, paranormal, fantasy type books hopefully you'll like this.
It's the story of one man's discovery of the powers he holds within, and how he not only changes himself but the world around him for the better.
I would appreciate your picking it up and your honest reviews!
Thanks in advance!!
Hi everyone. Hope you’re all having a nice day. Please check out my latest release. Thanks.
The room was sparse and dimly lit with flickering strawberry-scented candles. Power was out. It had been nearly a decade since Nathan had stood inside someone’s home; since that tragic day when he lost everything that ever mattered to him. Outside, a hurricane sounded like it was beating palm trees against the earth. Nathan didn’t know the woman who’d rescued him from the throes of the deadly storm, but he would soon enough. Her name is Miriam and she is about to change everything he ever thought about the meaning of life and what lies beyond. Nathan will discover that the strength of love can piece his shattered world back together and heal wounds that cut deep into his soul. But he never figured the perils he and Miriam were about to face by knowing the most horrible knowledge that one can know.
The other day I published my first piece, Sofi as a 4th Singularity. It's basically a novella. I wrote it last spring for a writing class I took in school. Felt that it was worthy of publishing because of my teacher's and class' positive reaction to it. That was one critique, and so I'm hoping to maybe have a few others. I'd appreciate it if you guys would check it out
It's about a girl, Sofi, whose mind wanders all over the place and throughout the story there's this air of uncertainty as to what is the reality, and what is her imagination. As a first person narrative she implies she ended up in a place called Mue...and persistently debates whether it's an alternate, complex universe. As the story unfolds and her entire perception of the world changes thanks to Mue, the reader is prompted to derive their own opinion as to whether Mue is a product of Sofi, or if she really had been sucked into a "singularity" (in physics terms, sort of a black hole).
I gathered the plot is mind-bending, philosophical, and ambiguous from the comments and reactions back in the day. In particular if you're fascinated by logic and abstract themes this should be of interest to you.

I currently have two books on Amazon Kindle: "Walk the Walk, Talk the Talk: the life of an armorbearer" and "How did I get here?" (which is written under D.K. Crush)
The first book is a non-fictional about my life as an armorbearer as well as what an armorbearer is. The second book is a fictional story of two people who are college sweethearts who lose their way over the years. They go on to live separate lives while raising their children. And it's within those separate lives that the story truly begins...
