Thanks for being the only responder But I think you didn't understand the question or I didn't make it clear.
I know it's up to ME. I've done this many times. I have no problems scheduling etc....
I was wondering, on the consumer side, with so many books out there, how on this particular day, the KDP promotion day, amazon customers are finding it. Do the people that belong to KDP (readers) have a home page where there is a link to the products that are being promoted on this day?
That was all I was asking. Do they see something more than any other day? I get a lot of downloads on my free days, thats why I asked.
They spend valuable time here to help people like you, so it might be wise to appreciate what you get instead of getting angry.
That said, there are sites where readers can sign up to receive a daily list of new free books. I don't know where those sites are, but you might be able to find them in Google. Meanwhile, I don't believe a free select book is available to everyone. I often see them on product pages, but if I want to buy, I have to pay full price because I am not a Prime member.
There isn't any one answer. Some people look at lists of the top 100 free in their favorite categories. Some people subscribe to newsletters like "Pixel of Ink." Some people check sites that list freebies. Some stumble across them by chance. Some pick a category and then have choices listed by price. Some look at also-boughts. Some people check blogs and Twitter and Facebook and so on. No doubt there are other ways too.
I know your trying to be helpful, but I wasn't getting angry nor did I ask for "help' nor did I receive 'help' That was the point I was trying to make.
The question I asked had really nothing to do with me personally, it was how the promos work. The fact that someone (2people) had to put in a little YOU as if I was asking "I can't understand why my books aren't being downloaded" is arrogant.
I always appreciate actual help, when help is given, especially yours.
The first sentence that Sketcho wrote about Amazon customers VS prime members was the only info I needed.
