I have just written & illustrated "Cuddle Muddle" ... With bright pictures, a funny plot and plenty of surprises it is a great bedtime ebook for preschool readers.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cuddle-Muddle-PANDA-PICTURE-ebook/dp/B0088QK7C4

'Wee Panda Bear tumbles out of bed and needs a Big Bear cuddle, but without her wee black glasses she gets in a cuddle muddle! She hugs a hippo then cuddles a croc - and until sleepy Wee Bear cuddles Big Bear she just won't stop!'

This will be the first in a series of books by Alan Dapré - I'm an established, much 'traditionally' published author who wants to make the most of the ebook revolution.

If you do read 'Cuddle Muddle' please leave a review. Would love to hear your views, regards
Alan

Synopsis:

Lives are intertwined when a house explosion kills one mother, a second mother abducts her son, and a third breaks her silence. Each of their boys, now grown, questions what he grew up believing; all three are determined to find the truth in New Minden, Ohio.

Excerpt from Chapter Three:

Taking the dishes from the dishwasher, Lily dropped a plate. Chunks of broken china scattered like mice let loose. They scurried under the refrigerator and ran fugitive between the table legs.

“Damn!”

Pieces with ill intent, tiny and sharp, held their ground around her bare feet.

“I have to go. I have to go, Cheryl. I dropped a plate. I’ll call you later.” She hung up the phone and stretched across the top of the dishwasher. She willed her fingers to reach the broom in the corner. No use. She grabbed for a paper towel and tore off a sheet, slipped it below her right foot, and slid her sole gingerly across the floor until she could reach the wood broom handle.

Her husband sat in the living room in quiet defiance. He would no more have risen and gone to the kitchen to see what broke, to see if he could help, than she would call out his name to ask. Things were rotten. Life was giving off a garbage heap smell. It was the redolence of oranges plastered with white mold, mushy and falling apart as you picked them up to throw them away, far away, and knew that the odor would form an infected slip stream trail that would linger for hours. Their relationship had rotted. It was like lettuce, long in cellophane in the vegetable drawer, turned black, slimy, and cough inducing. They had gone from passion to a hate that oozed through bags too thin to hold the animosity. It was an evil that seeped under doors like backed up sewer water and wrecked lives. His and hers. She would not let it wreck Jacob’s.

DROP OUT
The room was sparse and dimly lit with flickering strawberry-scented candles. Power was out. It had been nearly a decade since Nathan had stood inside someone’s home; since that tragic day when he lost everything that ever mattered to him. Outside, a hurricane sounded like it was beating palm trees against the earth. Nathan didn’t know the woman who’d rescued him from the throes of the deadly storm, but he would soon enough. Her name is Miriam and she is about to drastically change everything he ever thought about the meaning of life and what lies beyond. Nathan will discover that the strength of love can piece his shattered world back together and heal wounds that cut deep into his soul. But he never figured the perils he and Miriam were about to face by knowing the most horrible knowledge that one can know.

DROP OUT is a beautiful tapestry of life, love, and acceptance that is moving, romantic, and real.

In Afghanistan a Government minister is kidnapped and killed. A British army helicopter is lost. And a British secret agent goes missing.

In London a criminal gang is churning out counterfeit money. Preparations for the London 2012 Olympic Games are well underway. And Dave Gold is wrongly arrested for murder.

Released from custody Dave sets out to prove his innocence. His enquiries lead him to the counterfeiters and bring violence his way. Fortunately Dave can look after himself. He’s the coach for the British Olympic judo team. But when he also attracts the attention of Afghan terrorists intent on sabotaging the Olympic Games, and more, it begins to look like he may be out of his depth.

The police and the security services have their hands full and are slow to fit the pieces together. Will they be able to work things out in time to stop the terrorists? Or will it be left to Dave to unravel the mess into which he has inadvertently stumbled?

Thanks for the forum as this is great platform to hobnob and promote one's book.

My books are basically on diet, fat or weight loss. There some couple of books I would want you guys to buy and read.

Fat Loss And Lean Mass In Overweight And Obese Premenopausal Women
This book is a research work carried out during my time at the University on women who are having issues with being overweight and obese. This book opens you a new information on the difference between being obese and overweight. And the kind of diet that would do well by cutting down on their fat and body mass level.

Low Carb Diet: How To Lose Weight While Eating What You Like

But this is a concise guide on what kind of carb will be okay for you at every given time.No hard and fast rule about losing weight is all boils down to eating the right amount of carbs.
