Creating Author Page

I have just started to publish Kindle books on behalf of the small publisher I work for and noted the encouragement to start an Author Page. I decided to do this on my own account in my own login. I inadvertently said I was the author of a book I have translated, and now the page I have created is in the name of the author (who is dead!)
I would like primarily to be able to create an Author Page in my own name, but I cannot see how to create additional Author Pages or if necessary to delete the page I have created. I seem currently stuck with the name of someone who is not me and nothing else.
Can anyone help please?

Contact Author Central Support for help. You might even be able to have them call you rather than play email tag. They were very helpful to me when I screwed up a book description.

I am having similar difficuties. I created an author page on Kindle - so I thought. When I had finished I found that I had created it for the paper-back edition on amazon.com (I am primarily on Kindle on amazon.co.uk). I have bee playing email tag without success.
KDP is a true revolution - and the future for authors - but I don't think they have yet connected all the dots.
If you create a page it should be available on all amazon sites for Kindle and the hard copy. And easy for readers to find.

Thank you for the feedback. Will try contacting Amazon, but why don't I have a lot of hope! However, it is good to share experiences, and I agree, the dots aren't all joined up yet, but it is a revolution...
