International Amazon Stores

I have a question about how to unlist my books in various international stores. I have only been on Kindle a short time and have had only one sale in Amazon UK - all of mine have come from Amazon.com. I wanted to limit my sales to just those two stores, but I am a bit confused as to how to do that. I did remove all of the locations for one book, as is indicated here: https://kdp.amazon.com/self-publishing/help?topicId=A1H1OSSLAY4B4F for the stores I want to be removed from, but I'm not sure what is supposed to be checked - all of the rest?

For example, if I unchecked

Austria
Liechtenstein
Switzerland
Germany
Luxembourg

to remove my books from .de - should all of the rest of the worldwide locations remain checked? Do the others use .com?

I really want to avoid having small sales in an international store that never accrue to the required payout. I was under the impression that all sales in all stores would be added to my account as Smashwords does, but that is not the case. I can foresee selling one book in the UK store and no others - thus never getting the bit of revenue it generated.

I can't seem to find any more detailed instructions, and actually I didn't find anywhere that it clearly stated that each store is paid separately - I got that here from some of the discussions.

Any help is appreciated. I want to do it correctly the first time so that my books aren't in "review and publication" more than once to make this change.

Thanks!

Hi tnorth20, it is best that you contact the Kindle people directly about this. There is a CONTACT US link at the bottom of the page.

I gather that you've just joined and you seem very confident that you won't garner enough sales in these other stores.

You might like to have another rethink before you contact the Kindle people.

The different Amazon sites do pay separately, but would it matter, even if it took decades before you sold enough to get the money from one of them?
