I'm with you. Tacky Khaki! Why must we have brown anyway? Couldn't we at least have a pleasant pretty color to torment us? Or maybe Amazon could use a variety of colors, surprising us each month so that we would at least have something to look forward to!

And if it must be brown, then why not several shades of brown? Chestnut, mahogany and cinnamon are nice choices.

4:18pm ET

US - 1
UK - 1

I'm just thrilled and grateful to actually have a sale the first day of the month, anywhere, any country. :)

3 sales in the US today, and 1 in the UK

Not too bad, but one of the US sales has already been refunded. One day? Seriously? If its the author name confusion thing, just read the damn blurb or check which genre you're buying from! Course it could be someone who bought it 5 days ago and got it refunded today - but still...

With a possibly maximum of 5 refund each month (and only in the US - never had a UK or European return) , I don't think it's the writing so much as people who know the refund scam taking full advantage of it.

Beige line went quickly for me in the US.

It's gone now in the UK but only because there was a return on a sale that must've happened toward the end of June. Strangely, I'm happier to see my sales total at -1 than be confronted with the beige line.

One UK and one US, my 100th and 101st sales. Very pleased to break those lines so early in the month as it usually take about a week. Hoping to beat last month's tally of 31 sales.

I've about 1hr and 15 minutes left here of July 1 - at Amazon 51 sales US - and 3 sales UK and DE combined. Lowest Sunday here since April. But B&N was 25 - and 4 of those B&N books was a 9.99 one so that is cool. I need more 9.99 books that sell! :)

I/2 hour left on West Coast. Sold 15 of my SciFi series.

Got my first USA return today. Almost instant return. So a net total of 14 books. Best opening day ever. Target for July is 250 book sales. 10 a day would be great.

THANKS SAXON ANDREW. (WITHOUT HIS GUIDANCE I WOULD HAVE GIVEN UP BACK IN MAY.)
