Whenever I go to KDP and run a sales report, I get a XLSX file on my desktop screen. This XLSX file cannot be opened or removed or put in the trash. I can't even move it around on the screen - tried to create a folder to dump it into and I can't even do that. Is there a setting that I need to change so I do not get this file every time I look at sales for my book and is there a way to remove these files from my desktop? I am on a MAC running Lion 10.7.4 HELP!

You're looking at the Prior Months' Reports, right? It has the extension *.xls and can be opened with the free Microsoft Excel Viewer (I assume there's a version available for the Mac) or by Open Office.

I don't know what the terminal X could be.

The only way to get the Prior Months' Reports is to download the Excel file. They should be as moveable and deleteable as any other file!

I have Excel installed as a full program and these files will not open. I am not downloading them, they appear almost instantly when I open a seller report. I am a pretty savvy computer user and these files have me stumped. I was hoping someone else had this issue and knew what to do to delete them from the desktop.
