I recently contacted customer support and spoke to a lovely young lady who helped me publish my book.

she stayed on the line and assisted me from scratch with suggesting categories and helped with pricing. We went on chatting as she assisted me further, and I came to know she was located in South Africa. She had a lovely accent, and I was surprised by her English, after she actually told me that the native language in SA is actually English.

She told me about this author that called in saying she wanted to speak to a native English speaker and refused to speak to her, telling her she does not speak English. I think some Americans are very arrogant at the fact that there are other people all over the world that speak english and this is their native language.

How do you think they feel by us Americans insulting them as we often do as we assume we are the only english speakers in the world. we need to learn tolerance and think before we say things to other people who are merely speaking with a different accent.
