I updated changes by mistake for my ebook. I want to stop them. I want to revert to the previous version. How do I do that?

Normally, once you've hit the publish button you have to wait for it to go live before you can upload any further edits (and that includes uploading a previous version).

You could try and use the contact us button, but I've never heard of them being able to help, and it usually takes them twice as long to get back to you, than it takes for the updates to go live.

Probably best if you just keep watching that grey button, and the minute it goes live, get your old manuscript uploaded.

Good luck. J

And how did you solve it?

NJ,

The OP was able to fix it when the button went live.

He posted a new thread saying the problem had been solved, which, because of all the spam, I hadn't seen at the time I responded.

I suggested he update this post, which he has now done.

Hope that explains. J

Good job, Julia! Thank you.

It's irritating as heck when people ask for help and then announce they don't need it any more. What about the next guy who comes along with the same problem?
