I haven't been happy with my book for some time now and would like to do a complete rewrite, with new title, new cover, etc. I have taken the book back into a 'draft' state but not convinced it's off the selling list. How do I completely remove it from existence on Kindle, please.

You can UNpublish it, which will remove it from sale. Existing customers will still be able to re-download it in case their copy fails for some reason.

Putting changes into Draft status will not, in and of itself, unpublish the book.

That's what I thought, I also thought an unpublish tab could be found under 'KINDLE EBOOK ACTIONS' but it isn't there so assume something is wrong with what I want to do?

If you click on the ellipsis next to your book on the Bookshelf, 'Unpublish book' is the last option in the Edit list (at the bottom).

Hope that helps. J

I now know where I went wrong, I looked for unpublish after pulling it out into draft, it wasn't there, only when I put it back into it's original state did I find it. It's unpublished now leaving me free to plagiarise my own work. Thank you for the replies
