DOCX file uploaded and converted successfully but when I looked at downloaded file in Previewed TOC links to headings no longer work. Any ideas on what's gone wrong? Thanks.

You might try uploading a doc file OVER your docx file and see if it makes any difference.

This doesn't help me but it might help somebody with an answer. I used the Kindle Create add-in to edit my DOCX file. Their KChapterTitle and KSubchapterTitle have no apparent tie-in to MS's Header 1 and Header 2 so maybe that's where the connection broke (One wouldn't think Amazon would leave something like that hanging loose between their add-n and their Previewer, would one?). If I select all the occurrences of KChapterTitle and then Update Heading 1 to Match Selection, and so on for second level titles, could that possibly fix it?

I myself, for a paperback, upload a formatted PDF to CreateSpace (also Amazon).
For a digital book, I upload a word doc straight to the site.
I've never had a problem and have never used 'Kindle Create'.
