Is there any way to edit the text of your book while it is in previewer? (paperback) I am trying to convert mine, but for some reason this time it isn't recognizing page breaks like it should and is starting chapters at random spots on the page. I can fix this by getting going out, pulling up the file and readjusting each chapter start the necessary lines up or down and then resubmit. That does work, but with 58 chapters to the book, I would have to repeat this process 58 times to get it formatted the way it is on my word file. Is there some way I can just do this and make changes while it is on the previewer?

No. FYI: Most of us do a paperback at CreateSpace (also Amazon). We upload a PDF for paperbacks. What you see there (PDF) is what you get.

You have to redo your manuscript and upload a correct version.

Nope!

The previewer is not an editing tool. It's purpose is to reveal your formatting errors so you can correct them in your file. From your desc*ription ("start the necessary lines up or down ") it appears you are using Word or somesuch program, but know only how to use it as a word processor (magic typewriter) rather than as a formatting tool. The best step you can take is to learn how to use Styles/Formatting to manipulate your text rather than the spacebar and return key. That way, you'll see what you want to see in the previewer, not what you don't. There are courses available as well as innumerable tutorials on YouTube.
