I am creating my pages from illustrator and saving as PDF. The majority of the pages had black lines either on the top, bottom or sides. I fixed most of them embedded the images but there are two that won’t work. The images are embedded not linked and saved as PDF. when I view the PDF it looks fine but then when I put it in the pages and upload the manuscript to preview the same lines show up. Please help?!

Are you doing a paperback or a digital Kindle book?
PDF is for paperbacks.

What Donna says -- and what is "illustrator"?

(Don't trust KDP to publish a print edition. Don't trust CreateSpace to publish an ebook.)

You can't use a PDF to create an e-book except as fixed format. If that's what you want to do, you have to accept the limitations of the medium. For a reflowable e-book you must upload an e-pub, mobi or a properly formatted document (e.g., Word) for conversion.
