Just a feeling, but I'm pretty sure you didn't earn $55,000. It's more likely you're confused by what you're looking at, but, of course, no one knows exactly what you're looking at or, really, what you're asking. If you want to ask KDP for an explanation, use the Contact Us button at the bottom of the page. You'll need to be a little more clear with your question than you were here, else they'll have no idea how to advise you. Good luck.

Thanks for the information provided to me.

But I guess their is some big misunderstanding about the exchange rate. Since in India their should currency diff where 1 dollar = 65INR.

As per your information provided to me of total sales in my account was 55,367.20 dollars.

Then your bank should calculate the currency difference of my country which is 65 INR per dollar. But your bank has calculated 0.02INR per dollar.

How can this be happen. Please I think this is a major misunderstanding which needs to be taken care off an monitored closely by your end and resolve the issue as urgent as possible.

Waiting your quick response on this matter.

I didn't click on the link since I don't know where it goes. But 55,000 rupees does convert roughly to 855 US dollars.
So I think you must have it backward or something.

We are authors here and can't see your account. You need to reply to the email that you received if you have other questions.

We can't point out your mistake unless you say exactly what number you are looking at. Which page, which line.

I guarantee that you have misunderstood what you are owed.

Have you checked what you expected to be paid? How many books sold multiplied by your royalty will give you an idea where the decimal point should be at the very least. KNEP rates change but the same process will give you an idea.

If you have sold moderate numbers of books then my guess is the screen shots are an Amazon glitch. The big numbers are Indian rupees and the 855 is US dollars. Have you received this amount over the past year?

If you really think you have sold $55,000 worth of books then very well done and keep chasing Amazon. :) But if you work out you are only owed 55,000 rupees, also well done, but the celebration will be more muted.

And make your next book an explanation of how you did it, so that we may all benefit from your publishing genius.

At today's exchange rate, 55,000 INR equals 852 USD.

On the day you were paid, it equaled 855 USD.

You were owed 55,000 INR, not 55,000 USD.
